My Shane's birthday

Just to share 2 photos of my first born's birthday. He was very excited and even opened his own gifts (with a little help from mom ofcourse). When he saw his cake for the first time he was surprised; his mouth actually hung open lol! He is advancing very fast and growing by the day. The crawling is getting faster and his standing against everything is also getting better. I think that he will walk very soon.

Wise words...

Today I wanted to do something different on my blog, since I was clueless the last few days of what to publish on my post. I have a few famous quotes I would like to share on life, love and so on.

"Every beauty which is seen here below by persons of perception resemble more than anything else that celestial source from which we all are come...."-Michelangelo (1475-1564)

"I celebrate myself, and sing myself,And what I assume you shall assume,For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you."-Walt Whitman (1819-1892)

"Heaven will be inherited by every manwho has heaven in his soul."-Henry Ward Beecher (1813-1887)

"Imagination is more important than knowledge.Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."-Albert Einstein (1879-1955)

"Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourselfand know that everything in life has a purpose."-Elisabeth Kübler-Ross (1926 -)

"Beauty in things exist in the mind which contemplates them."-David Hume (1711-1776)

I can go on and on... but I think that will be it for now... I will publish some more later on!!

A day at Gold Reef City - 4D Experiance

Here in South Africa, We have a Theme Park. It's called Gold Reef City, It was an old mine which they recreated as an attraction and theme park. We had a great time there. If people came to South Africa I would definitely recommend they go they come to Gold Reef. The photo attached was taken in the 4D Cinema; it opened Yesterday, and we had the privilege to check it out. It is a short clip that could give you a good scare because of awesome realistic special effects. The chair moving, wind really blowing and so on, it’s an experience of a lifetime. Better than the Cyberspace 3d!

Your love for me everlasting and true

Last night happened the strangest thing
For the very first time you didn’t even know where to begin
I saw it in your eyes
A glance of perfect shy

You looked at me smiling
I can see now that your blood pressure is rising
Is there something you want to tell me?
Something that I might want to hear?

You keep quiet for a while
You keep staring into my eyes
As you move closer towards me
I feel you taking my hand

You went upon you knees
Asking me that question and then saying please
I was shocked, it was definitely unexpected
But how could I say no with your love so strongly reflected

From that moment I knew
That you were going to make me happy
You took me in you arms
Both of us were crying and being overjoyed
Celebrating our love until the morning light

Written today

(inspired by one of my best friends)

Your morning Sun

Wake up this very day
Just this once, live it in a different way
Open your eyes
Take deep breaths to clear your mind
Walk up to the window while you unwind
Look up into the beautiful open skies

Stand there if only for a moment
Do you hear the birds sing?
Do you see the trees dance?
The sun shines for you daily with a new glance
Its light shines upon your skin
A new day and blessing it does bring

Smile this morning whilst you feel it
Look up to the sky and breathe it
See it changing your mornings making it differently
Now you can move into your day peacefully

Let go...

Sometimes I feel depressed like I could jump the nearest cliff.
I have found a song that helps me feel that it’s ok to have a good cry now and then.

Frou Frou – Let go (Garden State)
Drink up baby down.
Mmm, are you in or are you out?
Leave your things behind,
'Cuz it's all going off without you.
'Scuze me, too busy,
You're writing your tragedy.
These mishaps, your bubble wrap, when,
You've no idea what you're like...

(So let go) So let go
Mmm, jump in Oh well whatcha waiting for?
It's alright, 'Cuz there's beauty In the breakdown.
(So let go) Yeah,
let go Just get in Oh it's so amazing here.
It's alright, 'Cuz there's beauty In the breakdown.

It gains the more it gives,
And then it rises with the fall.
So hand me that remote.
Can't you see that all that stuff's a sideshow?
Such boundless, pleasure,
We've no time for later now, you,
Can't await, your own arrival you've,
Twenty seconds to comply.

(So let go) So let go
Jump in Oh well whatcha waiting for?
It's alright, 'Cuz there's beauty In the breakdown.
(So let go) Yeah let go Just get in
Oh, it's so amazing here.
It's alright,'Cuz there's beauty In the breakdown.
So let go Mmm, jump in Oh well whatcha waiting for?
It's alright, 'Cuz there's beauty In the breakdown.
(So let go) Yeah let go Just get in Oh it's so amazing here.
It's alright, 'Cuz there's beauty In the breakdown.
In the breakdown....
'Cuz there's beauty in the breakdown.
The breakdown.... So amazing here....
'Cuz there's beauty in the breakdown

This is also the lyrics to a song that plays in my favourite movie “Garden State”

Sort Summary about the movie:
Andrew Largeman shuffled through life in a lithium-induced coma until his
mother's death inspired a vacation from the pills to see what might happen. A moderately successful TV actor living in Los Angeles, "Large" hasn't been home to the Garden State in nine years. But even with 3,000 miles between them, he's been unable to escape his domineering father Gideon and the silencing effect he's had on his son from afar. Stunned to find himself in his hometown after such a long absence, Large finds old acquaintances around every corner living quite unique lives as gravediggers, fast food knights and the panderers of pyramid schemes. Meanwhile, at home, he does his best to avoid a long-simmering but inevitable confrontation with his father. By a twist of fate, Large meets Sam, a girl who is everything he isn't. A blast of color, hope and quirks, Sam becomes a sidekick who refuses to ride in his sidecar. Her warmth and fearlessness give Large the courage to open his heart to the joy and pain of the infinite abyss that is life.

This movie can be an eye opener to many people, facing their past demons and learning to be free to express our feelings. We all have skeletons in the closet that we need to face, and Andrew did it well in Garden State.

Just to cheer me up

Today I was very sad; I had memories of a dear friend of mine that died December 2005. A friend was kind enough to comfort me with unrelenting cheerfulness when my heart was a mess and pretty much torn.

I thank him for being there for me. He is kind and special. I only pray that God will bless him with a female friend that would take care of him like he takes care of his friends.

The picture above; made me think of him...
