Last night happened the strangest thing
For the very first time you didn’t even know where to begin
I saw it in your eyes
A glance of perfect shy

You looked at me smiling
I can see now that your blood pressure is rising
Is there something you want to tell me?
Something that I might want to hear?

You keep quiet for a while
You keep staring into my eyes
As you move closer towards me
I feel you taking my hand

You went upon you knees
Asking me that question and then saying please
I was shocked, it was definitely unexpected
But how could I say no with your love so strongly reflected

From that moment I knew
That you were going to make me happy
You took me in you arms
Both of us were crying and being overjoyed
Celebrating our love until the morning light
